Save off and even share your cell contacts using zyb:
We have all had this problem of every cell phone not having portable
contact lists. We spend much time filling out the info to lose, break or
switch to a better phone. Well zyb hopes to change that. It supports a
wide variety of phones (although I dont see treo\'s). It is free and for a
small fee it will let you sync the contacts with iPod, Outlook and MSN.

Meebo is trillian in a web browser:
You are an IM junkie and have huge lists of friends on AIM, MSN, ICQ, and
YIM. Normally at home or on your laptop you use trillian,Gaim, iChat, or
Miranda. However on the go, at work, or at a friends house you want to
get on IM but not install a client. Meebo is exactly what you want. Its
free and easy to use, you just need to remember all your logins and
passwords.

Bring your personal WinXP look and feel anywhere with Mojopac:
Mojopac allows you to use any iPod, USB hard drive or Flash drive and turn
it into a portable private PC. Basically it allows you to carry your
apps, windows settings, wallpaper and so forth from one machine to another
with the attaching of the remote USB device. Great idea for someone who
needs to use a bunch of standard PC and not want to mess with them to get
the windows settings they prefer.

Foxmarks beats Google Sync for sharing bookmarks:
Foxmarks is a must have for firefox users. It allows you to sync up your
bookmarks across multiple browsers on multiple machines AND allows you to
login to my.foxmarks.com and get them off the web when on the go.
Users have compared it to Google Sync and it wins hands down. The biggest
complaint is if you have multiple computers, Google only allows one
connection from any machine at any time.

Trade your gift card for others using cardavenue:
Christmas is over and you have been left with one gift card from JCPenny,
Macys, and BestBuy. Only one of these cards you will actually use.
Instead of giving them away or stuffing them into a drawer now you can
exchange them for something you will use. You can also simply sell the
card on there as well via an auction.
Their fees for auctions are 3.95% of the auctions closing price + $0.50
closing fee to sell, no charge for buyers. For trading its the same cost
for selling a card.

Free IPTV from the creators of Skype:
First it was free P2P files with Kaaza, next free phone service with
Skype, now its free television with Joost. These guys have big marketing
clout so you will be hearing much more on this in the future. They are
working to get you free TV watching so beware video providers.

Galleon TiVo App in Maintence but still impressive:
One of the better 3rd party applications out there is Galleon. This
software has features including playing MP3s, viewing photos, album
covers, streaming music from shoutcast stations, iTunes playlists, view
local weather forecasts, internet webcams, email, RSS feeds, podcasts,
view local movie listings, videocasts, local upcoming events, local
traffic conditions, user customizable skins, IM using Jabber, and more.
Many of these features now are incorporated in TiVos home media and
TiVoToGo. However there are still many that are not covered. Worth a
check out.

New King in Internet Speed Testing:
There have been many internet speed testing sites out there and still one
of my favorite that many major cable MSOs use is toast.net:

However a new king takes the crown. Speedtest.net reworked their site
with amazing flash. This is very cool.

Charter pay-per-view is unencrypted.
Depending on the area you are in many charter subscribers accidentally
figured out pay-per-view is unencrypted. This means for a good time you
can one evening have your TV scan the RF for NEW channels. It will find
a bunch of new ones that have active pay-per-view channels currently
streaming. You can watch their show at the same time they do. You will
be surprised to find many of your neighbors are watching a lot of adult
content.
