Use Googles Gmail 1GB for more than email:
Gmail has been a hot topic in the last few months and everyone has been
wanting to get an account to test it out. But who among us can actually use the
*1GB* of the space they give you?... Well now you can! Enter "GmailFS" (Gmail File System), this program allows you to mount the 1GB and use it as an actual drive on your own machine. Very Nice!

Netcat -- A Powerful Network Tool:
Netcat is a tool that every professional security expert should be aware
of and have in their security arsenal. It is open source, so it fits
the security budget. Some interesting uses of this tool are the following:
* outbound/inbound tcp or udp connections using any port
* full forward and reverse DNS checking
* port scanning capabilities with randomizer
* loose source-routing capability
* ability to read/write command line arguments from stdin with delays
* hex dumps of transmitted/received data
* ability to let other programs service established connections
* telnet-options responder

KisMAC the Ultimate Wireless Stumbler:
Not being a MAC fan, this application really makes me want to get a MAC
just to run this one app. It is amazing! This program is what network
stumbler for PC should be - and its free! Not only can it scan for wireless
networks for your favorite wardriving activities, but it does much more. Some of these
additional features are:
* wifi network scanning (including showing its capabilities)
* list of all MAC addresses detected on the network
* graphical real time bandwidth monitor to know how loaded the network is
* advanced WEP cracking built in (packet reinjection, brute force, weak
scheduling attack, newsham 21-bit attack)
* ability to tell all users to "deauthenticate" and perform a DoS
* supports a wide variety of wifi cards

Rainbow, John and RC5 password cracking:
Two standard tools were formerly widely used for cracking
password files. John the Ripper and L0phtCrack were good ole tools in
everyones pocket. In the last year, a new technique that can increase
speed by almost 12x, called Rainbow Crack was introduced.
